121 crore loss in Tripura due to Flood The Northeastern State Tripura faced an estimated loss of 121 crore due to floods and heavy rains in last month’s floods. The most affected areas are the West Tripura, Khowai and the Sepahijala districts, As per the state revenue department officials on Saturday.
The government assured to provide RS 95,000 to the houses which are fully damaged and Rs 50,000 to the houses which are severely damaged due to this floods. And an amount of Rs 3000 will be provided to the owner of partially damaged houses.
The state Disaster Mangement Authority called an Emergency meeting to sanction of Rs Rs 14.20 crore as compensation for the entire state. The amount of loss due to Crops damage is around Rs 37.53 crore.
The weather of Agartala, Capital city of Tripura is still not stable. As the holy and main festival of Tripura i.e Durga puja is coming after the week the organizers and the local vendors are tensed.
